PROJECT
The project is a unique partnership between the City of Vancouver, Clark College, and SEH America Inc. to create a modern interpretation of a Japanese garden. The meandering path, a defining element of the garden can be interpreted as a dry stream and is symbolic of the Columbia River. The garden is an educational and cultural centerpiece for the Campus as well as a vibrant community gathering space. The design features such as the undulating earth mounds, stone fountain and cherry trees create a fully integrated and elemental sensory experience.
