PROJECT
The assemblage of five granite blocks in various forms – cut and natural, juxtaposes the irregular forms of the sculpture with the architecture. The weight of the granite blocks ranges from 8 to 22 tons. The central focal piece which sits on top of a plinth has a triangulated form. Its natural face with its weathered appearance contrasts with the cut planes to accentuate the sense of the passage of time. Stacked rectangular slabs of stone create a relief from the ground plane and reinforces the concept of juxtaposition.
